CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE HISTORY

9/23/02 - Apparantly, the only member of AoV with the cojones to take on World Champ Richard Smoke for his Cruiserweight Title was the newest member, Brujah. And Brujah proved why he was deemed worthy to wear the icon of AoV by taking down Richard Smoke's Al Snow with his Y2J in turn 45 with a 2nd Rope Leg Drop. Congrats to Brujah on winning the Cruiserweight Title, and welcome to AoV!

9/16/02 - In a very small competiton last night, Richard Smoke overcame adversity to defeat The Gamer for the Cruiserweight Belt.

There were only two prospective challengers to The Gamer's title: Richard and Stampone. The two faced off against each other, and, in the end, Richard's RVD triumphed over Stampone's Y2J with a Mafia Kick in turn 36.

So Richard got his shot against Gamer's Y2J. Gamer was able to ditch Richard's Amazing Entrance early, forcing Richard to play on his heels the rest of the match. Ultimately, Richard was able to force a draw and a rematch with no turn limit. In the second match, Gamer gave it his all, but was unable to overcome Richard and succumbed to a 5-Star Frog Splash in turn 42, making Richard Smoke your new AoV Cruiserweight Champion!

9/9/02 - In a shocking revalation, Skittlez revealed that he has left the faction. That means his Hardcore title and Cruiserweight title are now vacant. Who will step up and take the discarded belt home and hold it up in true honor and give it the respect it deserves??

This week saw 6 men going for the belt. Richard Smoke got a bye in the first round as his opponent and fellow tag team champion partner, Dude, didn't want to fight his good friend and so he apparently knocked himself unconcscious and enjoyed the tournament from the sidelines allowing his partner to advance. ICRWA tripped up Spider Jerusalem for the 1-2-3. And The Gamer did something we all wish we could do... make Michaelangelo's Trish pass out after a dragon sleeper for the submission victory.

ICRWA got his good luck and received a bye to the finals while The Gamer and Richard battled it out. The Gamer got the victory after he proved Smoke's Benoit wrong by making him tap out.

In the finals for the vacant title, it was ICRWA going up against The Gamer. Lita versus Al Snow. After an intense battle, Gamer made ICRWA the 3rd person to tap out to his dragon sleeper, got the win, and is your new Alliance of Violence Cruiserweight champion of the world! Something tells me that belt plans on staying around his waist for a long time to come. Who will be Gamer's first challenger for his belt that has finally given him the respect he deserves? It might be you next week!

9/2/02 - It was a battle from top to bottom this week for the Cruiserweight Title, but when all was said and done, Skittlez stood at the top of the mountain, successfully defending his Cruiserweight Belt!

In the first round, Medallion was able to beat Dude into submission. In the other match, ICRWA's Lita triumphed over ARC2002's RVD with a Snap Suplex.

Medallion earned a bye in the second round and waited for ICRWA, who smacked Michaelangelo's Trish Stratus silly with Lita's Twist of Fate.

In the semifinals, ICRWA overcame Medallion's RVD with a vicious Litacanrana, and moved on to face Skittlez's Y2J for the belt and bragging rights!

The title match was an epic, lasting 51 turns. But in the end, Skittlez overcame adversity and defeated ICRWA with a massive Jawbreaker for the victory and retained his title!

8/26/02 - It was Richard Smoke vs. Skittlez for the right to be crowned AoV's first ever cruiserweight tournament. In a fierce battle of Skittlez's RVD vs. Richard's Benoit, neither man could get the advantage and the result was a draw. A rematch was called with same superstars but different playbooks if they wanted. This was another long battle and at turn 64, Skittlez went for a Five-Star Frog Splash but Richard countered with a knock off the turnbuckle. An irate Skittlez autocountered Richard's defense and got the 1-2-3 to become your NEW and FIRST AoV cruiserweight chapmion!!! Can you knock him off his high horse come next monday??
